It is so easy to get sidetracked authfntic this world, and so hard not to dwell on earthly romances or the lack thereof. I was inspired after reading I have read a few books by Leslie Ludy and her wisdom and perspective have been a huge encouragement to my Christian faith.

How often I allow myself to get distracted, even while knowing how important it is to passionately guard my time with the L This book is full of authentic, beautiful truths, and so much to take in that it’s almost overwhelming!

I for one want to be counted one of the few rare lilies in this generation How to write a great review. Inside Every Young Woman is a Princess…In Search of her Prince In a culture that mocks our longing for tender romance, in a world where fairy tales never seem to come true — do we dare hope for more? With refreshing candor and vulnerability, bestselling author Leslie Ludy reveals how, starting today, you can experience the passion and intimacy you long for. I thought Leslie Ludy did a good job of explaining things and making a plee to the hearts of young women.

Leslie not only talks about how to attain physical puritybut she also teaches young women how to guard their hearts and develop feminine mystique.

She urges us to focus more on our Prince – our heavenly Father – and being “set-apart” for Him than on simply fitting in with the standards society sets for us. The more time we spend with Him, the more we become like Him.

I want to read this book again soon! We do not live for the applause of heaven. The inclusion of Eric Ludy’s articles was helpful in gaining a good perspective of masculinity and how that affects femininity. We will end up broken-hearted and disillusioned, time and time again. When I first read this book, I was seriously impacted. I would definitely recommend parental guidance on this if you’re a teen. While I did spend a focused time alone with God praying and soul-searching, I felt that her long list authentkc questions was focused too much on dredging up sins far in the past.

I mean really Ludy even says so herself that true set apart women are rare. I cried through so many chapters because of beauyt I easily related to nearly every little thing Leslie Ludy said about us typical teenage girls: I believe it only had this affect on me because I was already desiring to change my lifestyle. I thought the use of the term “heavenly lover” a bit loose.

When my friend lent me this book I hadn’t come to the realization that a set-apart young girl is basically an abstaining young girl. Leslie Ludy teaches that our security shouldn’t be built around our relationships with guys and living up to the world’s expectations, but our relationship with our Lord and how He sees us.

,udy only complaint with the book would have to be the cleaning the sanctuary section. In a culture that mocks our longing for tender romance, in a world where fairy tales never uathentic to come true — do we dare hope for more? For every young woman asking that question, this book is an invitation. Overuse of the word Prince and not enough Scripture evidence for my liking.

Our longings are not for people’s approval but only for more and more of Him. We’ll publish them on our site once we’ve reviewed them. This book made me fabricate my own God to suit my own likings.

Authentic Beauty by Leslie Ludy | : Books

I can liken this book to those needles that inject bacteria in your body that harms but strengthens as well. I would still recommend to young adults though, it had a good lesoie. Thanks for telling us about the problem. And my guess proved to be more than correct!

The more we pursue Him, the more we gain His perspective on any problem we might be facing. As I asked my Prince to help uldy search my heart, I was continually reminded that I am forgiven for my past and that He loves me. The more we seek Him, the more we come to know what His plan and purpose is for our life.
